Shouldn't that be: "Wouldn't an 'inverted' star be better for something such as this?" But, to respond to what I think you mean, all that was covered a looong time ago, and it came down to the fact that I am too lazy to re-draw it. People get the idea even if it is technically wrong. Oh and this way I don't run the risk of accidentally summoning Santa*

On the up side, there was a new Doctor Who special yesterday. So it's not quite all an evil wasteland.

It was a bit rubbish though, no? I'm all for using big name actors but if you are going to use them at least give them something to do. Gambon's character was so 2 dimensional he had nothing to work with!

Well, yes - but it came off as pretty good for me because my expectations are so incredibly low for any Christmas Carol themed stories. Usually a high indicator that writers have run out of ideas.
But they at least managed a little different angle with this one, and i was just glad to get a dose while waiting for the new season to start in a few months.

Needed more Amy Pond.

Michael - Doctor Who was off the air in the late 90s. That's how we got that wretched Fox Doctor Who movie.
